Welcome to the Second Annual METI Awards

Last year, at HPSN2011, we launched the first-ever annual METI Awards for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation Video. We were amazed by the response we received from simulation users around the world and how passionate and driven they are about what they do every day helping to train first responders and save lives. The standard of all the videos we received from METI users across all fields of healthcare was truly outstanding and the recognition of those efforts from everyone who voted for their favorite videos was nothing short of inspiring.

Voting has now closed. Votes received afterJanuary 31st at 5pm EST will not be counted.

METI Awards Ceremony
The METI Awards will be presented to the winners at HPSN2012 including a showcase of the winning video at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, February 29th. The awards presented will be:

Best Simulation User Video Award - The METI Winners Trophy and a cash prize of $500
Two Runner-Up Videos - Runner-Up METI Trophy

Transportation in Downtown Tampa

Trolley Services
The TECO Line Streetcar System offers 10 station stops along its 2.4-mile route. Five stops are located in Tampa’s Channel District, four are in historic Ybor City and one is downtown. The stations reflect the design characteristics of the district where they are located and incorporate public art elements that celebrate the lives of Tampa and Ybor City workers.

Transportation from Tampa Airport to Downtown Tampa

Depending on mode of travel and current traffic conditions, you should allow approximately 20-25 minutes to get to Downtown Tampa from Tampa International Airport.

Shuttle Service
Blue One Transportation will provide non-stop transportation to and from the Tampa International Airport and Marriott Waterside. No reservations are needed, just call 813-282-7351.
