CAE Healthcare and Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI welcome you to the HPSN Great Lakes Regional SimDay! As new methods and technology evolve, this conference is a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers and thought leaders in your area. On October 10th, we look forward to sharing with and learning from YOU, the healthcare simulation professional. Together, we are driven to prepare healthcare professionals for the complex healthcare environment and care of today’s patients in a safe, competent manner with activities and simulations. Best practices will be developed to promote interdisciplinary and collaborative care among healthcare professionals. Simulation will provide authentic experiences to prepare and assess learners using a variety of simulators from patients to surgical and audiovisual debriefing solutions.

At the Great Lakes Regional HPSN, we are featuring Dr. Kathleen Wren from the University of Wisconsin College of Nursing.  Dr. Wren’s expert presentation will bring into sharp focus the relevant trends, concerns, and strategic challenges that propel the medical simulation industry ever forward. HPSN World 2017’s keynote speakers will address cogent issues of particular interest to the conference body and impart insightful perspectives on the constantly evolving landscape of the healthcare simulation community.
