HPSN is the premier education conference for healthcare simulation users. This year's Midwest Regional HPSN will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin - Madison and CAE Healthcare and will be offered for FREE to anyone interested in healthcare simulation and education. At HPSN Regional meetings, you will have the opportunity to brainstorm with peers in your area, participate in active, hands-on sessions and come away with new ideas for simulation. You will also be able to see the latest simulation products available from CAE Healthcare.

Driving Directions

From the North: Take Hwy 51 South to Hwy 78 to I-90/94, continue on I-90 East and exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see the "FROM HWY 12/18" directions at the bottom of this list.

From the South: Take I-90 North and exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see the the "FROM HWY 12/18" directions at the bottom of this list.

From the Northeast: Take Hwy 41 South to Hwy 151. Take I-90 East marked "Janesville," exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see the the "FROM HWY 12/18" directions at the bottom of this list.

Go north approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto University Ave. In approximately 1 mile, bear right with University Ave., then turn left onto Highland Ave. Continue approximately one quarter of a mile to the front entrance to UW Hospital and Clinics. Turn left and proceed into the parking ramp in front of the building.

From the East: Take I-94 West, turn left onto I-90 East marked "Janesville," exit to Madison on Hwy 12/18. From Hwy 12/18, see the the "FROM HWY 12/18" directions at the bottom of this list.

FROM HWY 12/18: Take Exit 258 for Midvale Blvd. Go north approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto University Ave. In approximately 1 mile, bear right with University Ave., then turn left onto Highland Ave. Continue approximately one quarter of a mile to the front entrance to UW Hospital and Clinics. Turn left and proceed into the parking ramp in front of the building.

Finding Your Way to the Clinical Simulation Program Facility

Use these wayfinding directions to navigate through UW Hospital and Clinics to our facility. After arriving at the hospital parking lot:

•    Enter the building through the clinic's entrance on the right

•    Follow Main Street to the H bank of elevators, and go down to the first floor

•    From the elevator there are three hallways; one leads to the cafeteria, one leads to the School of Nursing, and one leads to the Clinical Simulation Program. Walk toward the wall that reads, "Transforming Healthcare Education," and enter through the glass doors

Visitor Parking and Ramp Fees

Visitors should use the parking ramp at the east side of UW Hospital and Clinics (along Highland Avenue). The charges for visitors and others parking in the ramp that adjoins UW Hospital and Clinics are detailed HERE>>. If you are staying at the InnTowner, they do offer a free shuttle and it is the hotel within walking distance to UW Health.
