Patient Safety and Simulated Learning - Two Sides of the Same Coin?
In its fifth year, this two-day event was designed to enhance knowledge and understanding around the use of simulation in all levels of nursing education. Over the years the content has evolved to include workshops and presentations from allied health professions and medicine and has fast become one of the leading patient simulation conferences in Europe.
This year as part of our 5th Year Celebration there were four master classes available for 15 participants only. Both Tom Doyle and Tim Smith are internationally known for their activities in promoting the use of simulated learning in healthcare. Within the United Kingdom and Europe Linda Daniel and Sharon Elliott are gaining a reputation for developing differing methodologies to assist with the use of simulation as a strategy. All of our Master class facilitators enjoyed working with these small groups in what was a very interactive and informative session.
