In healthcare simulation, we deploy deliberate practice to improve our technical skills and interprofessional communication. During the Human Patient Simulation Network (HPSN) Southern Regional SimDay, we addressed how we can refine our practice to improve competency, teamwork, and safety in preparation for the clinical setting.
This FREE SimDay was held at the outstanding facilities of the College of Health Sciences, Samford University. Thank you to everyone at Samford University for hosting this event! The Southern Regional SimDay provided interactive workshops, hands-on simulation training and techniques, and networking options with other sim users, as well as a live-streamed panel discussion! Experts, enthusiasts, and eager innovators from the expanding world of healthcare simulation gathered to experience, contribute and learn together at the HPSN Southern Regional SimDay.
