15 Year Simulation Celebration
Every year, for the last 15 years, a spectacular group of people from all over the world and from every level of healthcare come together to exchange ideas on how to push the envelope of medical simulation to improve learning, competency and ultimately, save lives. At HPSN 2011, we had over 1,000 medical simulation experts join us for three action-packed days of learning with speakers, training courses, hands-on sessions and fun, not to mention the Poster session, METI Cup at HPSN and The METI Awards. It was by far our most ambitious, well attended and successfull HPSN to date.
At HPSN2011, more than 100 free concurrent sessions and training courses were offered and presented by leading educators in the field of medical simulation. Whether you're a physician, nurse or paramedic, and regardless of what brand of simulator you use, you'll find workshops that will motivate and inspire you to take learning with simulation to a whole new level! The Special Interest Groups (SIGs) were also available at this year's conference and are an HPSN tradition. The SIGs are designed to allow individuals with a common interest around simulation and learning to come together in an open forum. These are facilitated groups with a flexible agenda. In the SIG forum, individuals are encouraged to share success stories, seek input on challenges and network with each other.
