February 16-18, 2016
Tampa Marriott Waterside
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Tampa for HPSN World 2016!
HPSN World 2016 returned to Tampa, Florida with a thrilling multi-casualty disaster drill, two inspiring keynote speakers and more than 100 sessions presented by faculty and leaders in healthcare simulation. Amid all the activity, participants also took time to cheer on EMS teams during the CAE Cup competition and to network and greet old friends at the Casino Night welcome reception. We thank all in our simulation community—facilitators, attendees, exhibitors and partners--for their passion and dedication to improving patient safety.
We would like to thank April Cormier with the City of Tampa and Steve Markham with Strategic Operations for helping to make our disaster drill a resounding success!
Congratulations to our EMS CAE Cup winners, Keith Velaski RN, CFRN and Laurie Smith EMT-P, FP-C from Life Link III.
We thank all of our poster presenters for sharing their research. Congratulations to our poster winner: Action Sequence Scoring Implementation and Workflow Advantages, University of Missouri, submitted by Chris Sanders; Authors D Russell and M Shelden.
Runner Up: from the University of West Florida, SIM – IPE for College of Science, Engineering and Health, presented by Jill Van Der Lyke, Lela Hobby Burns, Eric Greska, Chris Drake , Janusz Chudzynski and Kristina Behan.
